- Name the event (optional, up to 50 characters) — "Retirement", "Launch day", "Holiday". It sits above the clock and travels with the link.
- Pick the date and time with your device's own date and time pickers. The time defaults to midnight, so a date on its own is enough.
- Choose a display format — the full days / hours / minutes / seconds clock, or a single total-days or total-weeks number.
- Tap Start countdown. The clock fills the screen and starts ticking immediately.
The target is read as your own local time, and the clock counts to that exact instant — so a countdown you share still lands on the right moment for someone in another time zone. When the moment arrives the clock is replaced by Time is up!
